Our History
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #351 has been an integral part of the electrical construction industry in Southern New Jersey since 1994. Local 351 was established by the merging of Locals 211 (Atlantic City), 439 (Camden) and 592 (Vineland). The history of these locals dates back over 100 years.
Local 211 was established in 1902 and was integral in the growth of Atlantic City.
Local 439 was established in 1937 and contributed to the industrial growth along the Delaware River.
Local 592 was established in 1937 and spent many years constructing manufacturing facilities and the Salem Nuclear Generating Station.
Local 351 is excited to carry on the history of its predecessors and integrate their diverse skillsets and cultures into its own identity.
