Local 351 Donates 250 Food Baskets - (12/24/2020)

 IBEW 351 Supplies Food Baskets

IBEW Local 351 has once again supplied food baskets to needy residents in South Jersey. In an effort spearheaded by Political Director Ian Leonard, Local 351 expanded the program to 250 complete meals this year. “It’s been a very trying year with so many people in our communities struggling. Our members felt the need to be extra generous” said Business Manager Dan Cosner.

30 meals were delivered to the Vineland School District. “Thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity” said Superintendent Dr. Mary Gruccio who accepted the donation along with Food Service Director Purvesh Patel. “Your thoughtfulness has helped to brighten the holiday for several of our students and their families.” District Guidance Counselors have distributed the meals to those recognized as most in need.

Special thanks go out to Curt Voss, General Manager of Live Nation, The McGuire/Fort Dix Commissary, and Walmart.
